Bo Harrington

Executive Pastor

Bo Harrington has a heart for disciple making! He loves people and loves to help them move closer to Jesus. Bo has been in ministry for 26 years. For most of that time, he served as a Children’s pastor. The last several years, he has moved into leadership and organizational development roles. Beyond a pastor and leadership nerd, Bo is an avid runner. He has completed 6 marathons and 5 ultra-marathons. He has been married to Amy for 26 years. They have 2 incredible children.

Brad Tate

Lead Pastor

Brad Tate is an authentic pastor whose heart for God and Love of his city lead him and his family to go all in for both! Brad has a Bachelors of Science in Biblical Studies from Cincinnati Christian University. In his 20 years of full time vocational ministry Brad has only served on staff at two churches. Lincoln Hills Christian Church in Corydon Indiana and 242 Community Church in Brighton Michigan. Brad is an accomplished communicator and has partnered with National and international organizations such as CIY, ICOM, INCM, CPC, UCYC, Spire, etc. Brad also serves on the Board of Trustees for Christ in Youth. Beyond a pastor and preacher, Brad has been married for 20 years to his wife Lindsay and they have two daughters.

Brooke Fitch

Director of Operations

Brooke Fitch is a wearer of many hats. Wife, mom, scientist, trivia junkie and Jesus nerd, first and foremost. She’s all about details and thinking through all possible angles of a situation. Her background is in microbiology (small things matter!), but after years of working in industry and teaching at Lansing Community College, she decided to stay home with her 2 sons. She has been, and continues to be, amazed at the journey God has her on. Brooke has been a believer her whole life and loves to talk about Jesus and hear what he’s been doing in your life! When she’s not directing operations, she’s hanging out with her husband of 18 years and cool sons, most likely outside.

Haley Hancock

Director of Early Childhood Ministry

Haley is Howell through and through! Haley has spent most of her life here in Howell. Before following God’s lead to dive into our Children’s Ministry position, she was an active volunteer in children’s ministry. She’s also a small business owner, (massage therapy), dog mom, hiker and biker! Haley has been married to her husband James for 9 years and they have 3 kiddos who love to camp all around our Mitten State.

Nick Kiper

Student Pastor

Nick Kiper is passionate about connecting and caring for people. He is highly relational and naturally challenges and encourages those around him. Nick spent the last two years training for ministry in Louisville, Kentucky at Southeast Christian Church in the 215 Residency program, where he focused on Community Engagement and building the Young Adult Ministry. As Student Pastor, Nick has a genuine excitement to invest in the next generation of Christ followers and community leaders. Both Nick and his wife, Chanel, are devoted to developing disciples and believe following Jesus is the best invitation to adventure and a full life.

Tim Kaiser

Creative Arts Pastor

Tim Kaiser is a man of many talents and is always on the go. When he’s not leading worship you will most likely find him right next to his wife, his middle school sweetheart, Tessa, doing a home renovation project or anything that consists of manual labor. They both value hard work, lots of laughs, and making memories along the way. They have 7 beautiful children together and love anything to do with God, family, and the outdoors. Tim’s heart for worship has been passed down into his children as well. His daughter Jordyn is already playing and leading and likely several more Kaiser kids to follow. Tim has been on staff as the Worship Pastor at a couple of the largest churches in America. At his core, his goal is to help people understand that worship is so much more than a song on Sundays. Worship is a lifestyle that echoes God’s love and glory.

STATEMENT OF FAITH

We believe in one God—Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.

We believe in God the Father Almighty, Creator of all things visible and invisible.

We believe in Jesus Christ, the Son of God, the eternal Word, the one and only Savior.

Who was conceived by the Holy Spirit and born of the virgin Mary, both fully human and fully divine; Who lived a sinless life; Who suffered and was crucified as an atonement for sin; Who rose again in bodily form from the dead on the third day; Who ascended into Heaven; and Who will return in victory to rule forever.

We believe in the Holy Spirit.

Who convicts of sin; Who indwells every Christian; Who comforts us in our weakness and counsels us in prayer; and Who empowers us to a fruitful Christian life.

We believe in the Gospel—the Good News of Salvation.

That man, created by God, willfully sinned against God and is consequently lost and without hope apart from Jesus Christ.

That salvation—the forgiveness of sins—is only by grace through the blood of Jesus Christ.

That one receives salvation by putting faith in Christ, repenting of sin, and confessing Christ, and that the Bible commands every believer in Christ to be baptized by immersion.

That those who have received salvation through faith in Jesus Christ are sent into the world to proclaim the Gospel and to love and serve the world just as Jesus Himself did.

We believe in the Bible—God’s Word.

We believe God inspired the original writings of the Scripture and those original writings were consequently without error.

We believe that the Bible is the final authority for all matters of faith, truth, morality, and Christian living.

We believe the Bible teaches that God is the Creator and Sustainer of human life; that God creates each person in His image; and that life is therefore sacred, from conception to natural death. We believe that God creates each person as male or female; that these two distinct, complementary genders together reflect the “image of God” in humankind. We believe the Bible teaches that God established marriage in the beginning as a lifelong, exclusive relationship between one man and one woman; that He has reserved sexual intimacy as an expression of love and commitment between married couples; and that any intimate expression of sexuality outside of Biblical marriage is sin.
